Counts

Total: total number of charges recorded, including outstanding and satisfied.

Outstanding: number of charges recorded as outstanding.

Satisfied: number of charges recorded as satisfied or fully satisfied.

Part-satisfied: number of charges recorded as part-satisfied.

Floating: number of charges marked as containing a floating charge.

Charges Rules

We group results into four categories: Key notes, Notes, No notes, and Data unavailable.

Key notes highlight information related to the company's status.

Notes highlight contextual information about the company.

No notes means none of our rules were triggered and no notes were surfaced.

Data unavailable means expected data required for one or more rules was missing, unavailable, or could not be interpreted.

Highlight indicators are intended to draw attention to notes and improve scannability. They are not risk ratings or findings of non-compliance.

  • No outstanding charge has an insolvency case number or insolvency case link recorded.
  • No outstanding floating charge is marked as covering all the property or undertaking of the company.
  • 0, 1 or 2 charges are recorded as outstanding.
  • No cluster of 4 or more charges is recorded as satisfied or part-satisfied within a 12-month period in the last 4 years.
Key notes
Outstanding charge linked to an insolvency case.

An outstanding charge has an insolvency case number or insolvency case link recorded.

Notes
Outstanding floating charge covering all the property or undertaking of the company.

A recorded outstanding floating charge is marked as covering all the property or undertaking of the company.

Status could not be interpreted.

The status value for at least one charge could not be interpreted.

Satisfaction date could not be interpreted for satisfied charge.

The charge is marked as satisfied or fully satisfied, but the satisfaction date could not be determined for at least one charge.

Service / transport errors

400 invalid company number format → check is not run.

404 resource not found → check is run; treated as a usable result with no charges recorded.

401/403 auth → check is not run.

429 rate limit → check is not run.

Timeout / 5xx → check is not run.
